Dieting is the practice of eating food in a
regulated fashion to achieve or maintain a controlled weight. Diets to promote
weight loss are generally divided into categories:
a. Low-fat: involving the reduction of the
percentage of fat in one's diet.
b. Low-carbohydrating: restrict carbohydrate
consumption for weight control or for the treatment of obesity.
c. Low-calorie:
restricts calorie intake.
d. Very
low calorie: maintaining protein intake but limiting calories from both fat and
carbohydrates.
e. Datox
diets: detox diets
claim to eliminate undesirable "toxins" from the human body rather
than claiming to cause weight loss.
Reflection:
Overall it is a good
article, the article tells us about what diet is and how to diet. But the article doesn’t use the table
comparison between the types of diet and does not discuss which one is better
for the diet. I think with the comparison table this article will be much easier to be
understood by readers.
Diet is the action to
the make a body slimmer. Mostly people who do diet is teenage girls. The common
reason is to look good.
But not everyone has diet on the right way. Most of them are using slimming drugs that have bad effects on the health of the body or they reduce their food portions. Sometimes with what they've done that they have health problems. and although they managed to make their body slimmer, but with a slim body thay would look unhealthy / sick.

I personally have ever
been on a diet in high school. What I did is to reduce food portions and
consume slimming drug. That was a mistake because I did not diet with the
correct procedure. By reducing the size of the meal, I feel very weak while I
do my activities, it is because the energy comes from food. So if i reduce the
portion, it makes my body become weak and without power.
Slimming diet by consumsy
drugs is more efficient. That was proved
to myself. After a few weeks I take the drug, I felt my weight down, it is
shown by the clothes I wore became loose. From my experience after taking
slimming drug that our body will feel weak. It was because of drug reactions in
our body.
So, the conclusion is
don’t diet with anyting which can cause problems in our body that can make our
body unhealthy.
